Microsoft Office on your iPad - 31 May 2012
There’s been a lot of “will they or won’t they?” lately around whether Microsoft will release a version of Office for the iPad. There are many pretenders to the Microsoft Office crown in the app store but none of them are Microsoft Office.
CloudOn, first released in January 2012, allows you to create, edit and view Word, Excel and Powerpoint documents on an iPad and if you think that all you’ll get is the basics, then think again. You can build charts and pivot tables in Excel, add SmartArt and animations in PowerPoint and create tables in Word. In this webinar we’ll show you the features and benefits as well as pointing out the limitations of this exciting new app.
As well as CloudOn, we’ll also be demonstrating OneNote, an electronic notebook app from Microsoft. Although originally written for Windows, OneNote now runs on an iPad and iPhone.
And best of all, both CloudOn and OneNote are free.
